If you like the Transformers, rest assured this is a good one. If you're exhausted by Hollywood franchise filmmaking, then this absolutely will not change your mind.

Intelligent choices in design and casting make this a far more satisfying Transformers film, however in appeasing the franchise's fans with the out of place , over the top action sequences, the film loses it way towards the end.

We've become so accustomed to large scale visual extravaganzas that when something moderately less destructive like Bumblebee, it almost feels revolutionary.
