Jeepers C @RT12312147 4d They really nailed the nostalgic vibe of alien drive-in 👽 movies with this little low budget film. The practical effects are great partnered with the small town atmosphere they have going on. This is my favorite feel good movie at the moment. I hope they make another. The alien was awesome and the hurting he was putting on the townsfolk was historical. See more Par H @Parhwy Mar 18 Explorer from Another World (2024) is a 45-minute-long filmed I saw on Prime in March 2026. This is a fun parody or homage (both?) to USA 50/60s alien invasion films. You know – the alien is nefarious, the humans are humble and the outcome is a superior external force is beaten by an ethos built on apple pie and 2A. The acting, costuming, lighting, settings, script, directing… all the movie things combine, they work. There are too many items to list as enjoyable. I’ll list… the audio being out of sync for a micro-second; the kid with the leaning glance; the "sheriff" losing his bowling hand; the vibrant, 50/60’s magazine colour palette; the shiny wigs; the well-lit night scenes; "curious"; the gory gore; that the alien is acted by… a lady (duhn duhn dahhhh). See more Mark J @NeutronFlux Feb 6 A homage of 50's style Monster Movies. If you like movies like The Lost Skeleton of Cadaver, then this is for you. It has many of the standard 50's situations but with modern special effects. (Not big budget movie special effects but very functional and effective). This is short, a bit over 40 minutes. It has no dry, boring scenes because of that. Great fun to watch! No nudity or foul language. There is significant violence, (it is a Monster Movie after all).
