Morgana T @RT34087114 18h Honestly, it’s not the kind of movie you watch and think, "Wow, this is cinema," but it’s also not the kind of movie that makes you feel like you completely wasted your time. As someone used to watching kidnapping movies, especially as a woman, I found it interesting that they didn’t lean too much into a fetishized approach and, more importantly, didn’t take advantage of the context to fill the film with abuse scenes, even though there is unfortunately one pretty unnecessary scene in the middle of the movie. Anyway, I found the overall concept interesting, as well as the way the story unfolded and how the ending was left slightly open to interpretation, though not that much. I just didn’t really like the idea of the kidnapper having almost a plot armor, but aside from that, I didn’t think it was bad. See more Sinnjin T @Sinnjin2025 Feb 18 Overall entertaining movie. The concept has potential, but it is a very difficult task to pull off a storyline like this when time is the most vital source. Add to this formula a series of nonsensical actions in the beginning and you end up with an ending that you could see coming, no matter how it ended. At the end of the day, it is still a better watch than any news or talk show. :) See more C F @C_Fox Feb 13 Torture porn for the sake of torture porn. Movies like this take all the fun out of horror. See more Kathy T. @Patmoskat Feb 9 It can be quite complicated and clever if you think about it. Consider the characters. Consider the hidden messages and who really wrote them. The more you consider the possibilities and don’t just turn off the movie without processing it, the more the cleverness appears. See more 03/27/2021 What a stupid silly plot line. It's just too silly to be in any way a positive experience to watch. Avoid. Also, awful dubbing. See more the s @The_Stranger 02/22/2021 This is just like the Saw movie franchise if the Saw movies were worse than they already are. Sometimes you can tell a lot about a movie but just reading the plot. This is one of them. I figured it couldn't really be as bad as it sounded but it was way worse than that. To be honest, it was kind of hard to get through all the cliches of the first 20 minutes. The guy's voice? Come on. After that, it was equally hard to make it through the rest of the movie. How these films get made I will never, ever understand. I keep assuming they're a byproduct of a nation with way too many rich parents with bored offspring who want to be able to tel people that they're an ‘actor' or ‘director' and really if you have rich parents, that's quite easy. Just put together a movie that doesn't require a green light from anyone but daddy and you're good to go. The only tough part? You're not really an actor or a director, you're just a rich kid with too much time and not enough experience or drive. See more Read all reviews
