Audience Reviews for The Kid With the Golden Arm

Basically an average kung fu movie, thankfully not dubbed this time. The title describes the villain, however he has a smaller part in the movie than many other characters. Decently choreographed fight scenes are woven into a story light on plot but heavy on conflicts. Not bad.

Lite on plot, heavy on the action. A cool mix of wuxia swordsmen and hand to hand kung fu. Hu Wei Security is transporting 20,000 taels of gold to a famine area & being intersected by the Deadly Valley, a group of super warriors turned bandits. Helping Hu Wei Security, an expert swordsman, his sword wielding fiancée, a pair of axe-wielding warriors and a drunken master but someone's not what they seem. If you're into Shaw Brothers classics like Five Deadly Venoms or Flag of Iron, you're going to want to see this.

Another hot Shaw release. Good action sequences. One of my favs as well. Note that the cover on this site is OLD. There is a newer remastered version that is crisp and clear. That is what I watch!
