Kim from Queens 09/11/2024 Unfortunately, this movie did not work for me. I appreciate the director/producer's hard work, but she still needs to improve her skills. I don't understand why this has a substantial following on YouTube. I know that as an independent film, this was made with limited resources. However, nothing in this movie rises above those limitations. The low-resolution computer animation looks is static and distractingly glitchy. Nothing has enough visual detail or realistic human movement to communicate what's going on, which is a problem when there are long stretches with no dialogue. The pacing of the film is maddeningly slow. Almost every scene is twice as long as it needs to be to get its point across. The voice acting is amateurish, as are the sound design and editing, which need work. The music itself is competently composed but does not always work well with the emotions of the scenes. The storyline is a familiar retread of zombie (and other apocalypse-related) tropes. See more Read all reviews
