This is the best film I have seen in 2016 - well written, good direction that allowed the actresses to act and space for the audience to take it all in and draw their own conclusions. A must see!

Every scene is good, its careful design enhancing the movie's portrayal of a human reality and eliciting the right response from the audience. Few movies warrant such unhesitating praise.

Next to Her is a beautifully made film, but I wish it were more of a call to action to help fix problems in the social welfare system than an experience so depressing that it is hard to drag yourself out of your seat afterwards.
