this movie was absolutely boring. I think the director was on a cheap budget trying to compete against the movie "The day after tomorrow" and failed miserably. the effects were horrible, comedical to be exact. The acting was poor, and the plot was too rushed and shallow. Not worth spending the money on to even rent it from a video store.

No. Just no. This movie is pretty damn bad. Bad dialogue, illogical plot, and horrendously over-the-top acting. Post Impact is a really bad movie. REALLY BAD. The plot attempts to be cool, but the fact that it differs so completely from the established scientific theories on what would happen in the case of a meteor impact makes it laughable. The movie combines so many bad cliches and tries to tackle too many concepts at once. This movie tries so hard to be dramatic, but it just fails miserably. Worse than miserably. The best acting in this movie is done by a dog, and a 10 year old with no lines. This movie gets 10% for the kid's one funny scene, as well as the dog's total amount of acting in the movie. 10% for the sometimes cool SFX, and 10% for the laughably bad "dramatic" scenes. This movie is horrible. Don't watch it.

It's hard to watch a movie with Dean Cain in it. Add in a topless sex scene and it makes it ever harder to believe that "superman" could possibly sexually active. Plus the story blew donkey balls as well.
