Sinceramente,eu amo muito a comédia que eles expressam nesse filme e a atuação dos atores que é ótima,esse filme merece ser recordado porque além de ser subestimado e ótimo,foi o primeiro projeto grande do ator Jaeden Martell(Meu ator favorito),E não tenho oque críticar,filme perfeito e recomendo muito.

So glad I watched this. Had no idea Bill was capable of a role like this, though to be fair I haven’t seen Lost in Translation or Life Aquatic. I am about to watch both now. He was terrific and showed great range. Must have been a strong year for acting I think he should’ve gotten a nod for this.

This movie might have been even considered "great" back in 2014. But from a current perspective it's a bit plain and naive. And the values and the way we treat and raise children have significantly shifted since then, obviously.

Murray plays a middle aged curmudgeon for the umpteenth time, the kid is wise beyond his years and the movie is a mix of the sentimental and unlikely. Maybe the most surprising thing about the movie is Naomi Watts playing against type and getting most of the laughs. Unfortunately the final act wallows in the sentimental and cliche. Pretty average.

Bill Murray is great, per usual. The movie strikes a nice balance of being funny without being too precious about its heartfelt moments. The humor and poignancy coexist smoothly. Great performances all around.
