Basically a story about two Texans trying New York life and falling for each other instead, that's sunk by the wooden performance of the lead, Guy Madison, who could be outdone by Ken doll sealed in wax. In the background with little to do are Margaret Hamilton, Irene Ryan, and Florence Bates, stalwart performers who add life even when specifically asked not to (as they are here - but are still more interesting than the main story!). The ladies stuck on out-of-control mechanical horses might be one of the most curious set pieces ever filmed. Whatever were they thinking???
