Jan 7, 2017 AKA Angels of Darkness. 3 1/2 out of 5. See more Dec 31, 2015 Styria, Curse of Styria, Angels of Darkness, what the fuck is your title, m8? The actual film was titled Angels of Darkness so I guess that's what they decided on really (what a terrible name!). I don't know how I feel about this. I think the relationship with Carmilla is well done, and the castle and town are both really perfect. The actual story though, is very messy. I mean, the original story leaves a lot to be desired because it's so short, but in an attempt to make it into a movie they just... abandoned a bunch of that and made it, well, messy. Still it's worth watching See more Mar 5, 2015 This is an amazing effort from a promising director! This movie has all the right amounts of mood and tantalizing dread! It carries a lot of folklore and superstitions that, for this viewer, are equivalent to telling a deliciously creepy ghost story around the campfire! See more Mar 1, 2015 A typical old world horror story about a legend that comes back and terrorises a small town. Nothing that has not been done before, and better so nothing special here.
