I didn't expect much from "Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead" because of the title and the subject material of the story but the actually product gave me far, far less. While I've seen some amusing, entertaining and unique zombie films from Japan in the past, this one just was a mess. I'll forgive the bad acting because you can't have nuanced performances with a film like this but the barely intelligible story, terrible editing and really bad humor was really hard to overlook. Finally, the one thing that was impossible to forgive was the underlying and perverted sexist nature of this film. While the film will try to cover this up with the hero being a woman, there's no denying just how sleazy and slimy this film got with its handling of the female characters. Overall, I just found this movie to be a waste of time and something that was so bad that it was an exercise in futility to just try and find the motivation to make fun of it and make it something somewhat entertaining.

I can't understand a word but I enjoyed this movie. Cheesy and over the top but well produced. You don't really need to understand the dialogue to figure out what's going on
If you just want to laugh hysterically, you can be sure this one will do. It's just so out there. The ass ate his bat! for real, I don't know what drugs these people were on when they decided to write the screenplay or even produce this movie, but it does make for some great laughs.
Very weird soft-core porno anal-fascination Japanese comedy horror. A must for a bad movie night.
it is so stupid that it's so hilarious. definitely a 'must see', so funny
What else would you expect from Noboru Iguchi? Zombie Ass has its roots in anime more so than horror. It's completely filled with bad taste so I can't recommend it, but I watched the whole film in fascination knowing that someone thought this up and convinced an entire crew/cast to make it.
Odd, disgusting, over the top, and definitely jumps the shark in the climax (if you can hang that long); but what else do you expect from Tokyo Shock?
Comedy horror has to be seen to be appreciated. (Netflix)
Zombie Ass is cracked out. Nikatsu has yet another classic on there hands.
