A look inside the chaotic, hopeful and sometimes absurd lives of judges, prosecutors and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal process. Among them is newly appointed Judge Lola Carmichael, a highly regarded and impressive deputy district attorney who doesn't intend to sit back on the bench in her new role, but instead leans in, immediately pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be.

DESTINY A @DIAMONDAKAFYA 3h A VERY GOOD TV SERIES See more angela t 09/27/2022 Before this show was moved to OWN, it had a great deal of potentional. While somewhat lacking, it had all the elements of becomeing a pretty good courtroom procedurial. Once it moved it was more akin to a soap opeta and not a very good one at that. I had such high hopes when it was picked up but have been so diappointed. See more 06/08/2022 The first two seasons were good. I have high hopes for Season 3, however, the replacement of Todd Williams was unexpected and a little off-putting, but ok, it's just a TV show. The off-camera prat fall in the first act of the episode was completely uncalled for and disrespectful of the character. This is not a comedy show, it is a drama with some comedic elements, but there is serious subject matter. I hope the writers will respect that and that subsequent episodes have a bit more gravitas. See more 06/08/2022 Oof. I tuned in to the first episode of S3 and was more than a little disappointed. I guess the move to OWN meant a much lower budget but it looks cheap. And whoever is encouraging SMissick to be a comedian should stop doing that. The pilot in S1 was one of the best to come along and the rest of S1 was good (and sometimes very good).
