When many think of a ballet dancer, they probably have an image of a thin or slim person. While most ballet dancers fit that description, not all do. "Big Ballet" follows a group of large dancers who audition for, then prepare to star in a production of "Swan Lake." The process begins with more than 200 people auditioning for a role, but only 18 men and women make it through and join the troupe. Choreographer Wayne Sleep and ballerina Monica Loughman mentor the amateurs over the course of five months to get them ready to take the stage for an audience of 1500 -- to fulfill a lifelong dream.
