Boyfriend On Demand is mostly entertaining. However, the characters' problems are resolved too easily and unrealistically. Go to Full Review

Boyfriend on Demand has its moments, but it leaves us rather bored after the first 20 dates! Go to Full Review

While the premise is super interesting, and there’s actually some substance in there, ultimately, this is a drama that fails to be anything more than just potentially good Go to Full Review

Jisoo’s charm and the different dating scenarios her character will experience is what’s going to set Boyfriend On Demand apart from other K-romcoms, even if the show still has a lot of the genre’s tropes in the plot. Go to Full Review

Arianna T @RT91228689 3d Favourite K-drama. It shows how hard break ups can be and what can spark from them. The concept was a bit weird at first, but I grew to love it. Slight spoiler!! It’s probably the most realistic I’ve seen, as there aren’t any ‘K-drama moments’ like the girl slipping and the ml catching her, until AFTER they date, which I enjoyed seeing. Must watch!! See more ixayana R @ixayana Apr 6 I love the way the protagonist (Seo Mire) goes from being the typical different and traumatized ex, focused on her work and fed up with romance to being a free person who can trust, confident in herself. The way her character evolved is simply exquisite. On the other hand, Mr. Park (Mire's love interest) is exactly Mire's other side; it's literally as if they were made for each other. Together they complement each other, and I love the way he discovered that if he truly loves her, he must go for her. Highly recommended, Jisoo acts better, dramas are her thing, she should leave Blackpink See more Jalu P @RT01187142 Mar 30 It's must watch drama. I like all crew acting as well . See more Kai C @KaiKaiChange Mar 28 When a global superstar like JISOO takes the lead in a high-concept Netflix original, the expectations are often impossibly high. However, "Boyfriend On Demand" does more than just meet those expectations—it subverts them entirely. By the time you reach the pivotal fifth episode, it becomes clear that this isn't just another romantic comedy; it is a sophisticated, self-aware masterpiece that marks the arrival of JISOO as a formidable force in the acting world. The brilliance of the series lies in its "subscription service" premise, which feels like a meta-commentary on the parasocial relationships inherent in 2026’s digital culture. As Mi-rae, JISOO portrays a woman navigating a curated world of "perfect" men, yet it is her "imperfect" moments—the drunken stumbles, the awkward silences, and the flashes of genuine loneliness—where she truly shines. JISOO’s performance is a masterclass in subtlety. Dominating the #1 spot on Netflix globally for consecutive weeks, this series proves that JISOO is not just a global icon—she is a powerhouse actress. Playing the role of Mirae, JISOO delivers a performance that is both incredibly natural and emotionally resonant. She effortlessly balances the comedic "chaos" of virtual dating with deeply moving, vulnerable moments that showcase her immense growth. Her chemistry with the leading men is electric; whether it’s the nostalgic, heart-fluttering scenes with Seo Kang-joon or the sophisticated, high-tension romance with Seo In-guk, JISOO anchors every episode with her undeniable charm. With its sleek production, witty script, and JISOO’s "Visual Queen" presence, "Boyfriend On Demand" sets a new gold standard for the romantic comedy genre. It’s more than just a rom-com; it’s a masterclass in modern storytelling. See more Read all reviews
