I loved that rowing is actually at the heart of the story, with real stakes and so much team spirit. The love interests are both genuinely nice, without the usual obvious "bad guy," and the characters don’t feel overly cliché. Teagan is such a likeable main character, and I loved seeing a Eurasian girl as the lead. Miku Martineau is also absolutely gorgeous! You can really tell the cast worked hard to make the rowing convincing, and it shows. I also loved that Season 1 felt complete rather than like a short introduction to the "real" story. We got enough time with the characters, relationships, family struggles and team dynamics to already feel invested. Wholesome, fun, interesting and full of team spirit.
