A genetically enhanced superhuman prototype, Max, who, as a child, escaped from a covert government military facility along with 11 others who were all being raised and trained to be super-soldiers. Now an adult, Max joins forces with idealistic cyber journalist Logan to battle corruption in post-apocalypse America as he constantly tries to elude capture by government agents. While all that is going on, Max also searches for her genetically enhanced brothers and sisters, all of whom were scattered in the aftermath of their escape.

03/04/2021 I loved the second season. It had a fast paced, well structured plot, and great character development. The final episode leads inevitably to the big question : how could the mutants fit into society in the future? Will they even be considered humans by the humans that brought them into this world? Will they be accepted by society or are they condemned to live their lives as outcasts. Will Max become their leader and will she be able to satisfy the needs of both the mutants and the humans with her strategy? It is such a pity that their was no third season, it would have been such an opportunity to address topics like racism, discrimination, society structure and poverty, ethics of science etc etc. I would love to see a reboot, with Max all grown up, leading the union of the mutants.
