Jessica J @RT39831262 05/09/2023 This is better than the Western designated survivor. I also find this contradicting to the Western version since this version showed the interest of Americans in using SK to advance their conflicts between NK. I loved how well the cast played their roles, too. They played it well and the casts annoyed me sometimes. You really know its a good show when it causes you some emotional reaction all throughout the show. See more I F @RT11494961 05/03/2023 it's so bad. The main president guy is like the biggest loser in the world. It gets annoying immediately. The acting is just horrible, it's like they don't even try. And the plot - the plot is actually stupid. I don't mean it bad or annoying. I mean my five-year-old could've seen that it makes no sense whatsoever. Scooby-doo makes more sense. *** This rating makes no sense - all other reviews here a bot comments*** 97% - that's actually ridiculous. *** it's a 30% show at best. See more 08/12/2020 Excelente historia. Muy buenas actuaciones y ritmo del drama. See more 02/11/2020 This made a far more believable story than the US original. There's so much more history there, and it makes you want to root for the better leader. Every episode allows one to immerse into the entire conflict. And you see how an ordinary guy just transforms himself into the politician that the premise needs. See more 12/20/2019 This is such a good series. Its a bit optimistic-realistic genre but kudos must be given to the fantastic writer, director and the cast. Ji Jin Hee who portrays Park Mu Jin carries the drama by being a very convincing naive acting president to a president that is more realistic and wise in his ways. The way he portrays his role with such sincerity that you have no trouble believing that his staff are falling for his abilities. In addition, kudos must be given to the supporting cast who make the new aides such fun and dynamic character. Son Seok Koo [Mother, Suits(Korean)] is the breakout star, with his minute mannerism and weird charisma and a dog like loyalty once Park Mu Jin earns his admiration. The off-screen chemistry between the cast are evident, as it translates to sizzling chemistry between the aides and between Park Mu Jin. The writer too has given a lot of thoughts on relating Park Mu Jin 60 days tenure to relevant issues in Korea, and in one prominent episode, taught Park Mu Jin that he as an acting president, bloodshed is unavoidable, and in the other, highlight to him the realism of passing anti-discrimination policies. These two points are so rarely seen in dramas, as its either the protagonist will have their glory all the way, or be evil all the way. See more 10/13/2019 If you're saying that the original series for the United States, this Korean remake is surprisingly good at sticking true to the original premise but with modifications that are interesting to compare to the original series. It's a great introduction to some Korean politics, as well as fairly well done acting. There are naturally cultural differences that are sometimes hard to pick up on, but overall, it's a very well-done series. See more Read all reviews
