Jun 24, 2022For one, I love paranormal shows and not all shows are the same. I liked the fact that history of the place was given; that they slept in the places that were haunted, but they seemed and acted like high school kids. You could tell things were scripted. Maybe some parts were not. I could not stand the wimpyness that was displayed by this group. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good.

Sep 07, 2021I'll start with the positive. The hosts of the show are pretty authentic. They don't hide when they're scared and if they've ever tried to, they're not very good at it. As a result, it makes for some pretty entertaining television. It was hysterical at moments watching them get scared and at times literally shake in fear. I also like that they sleep alone at the haunted locations they go to. It creates some pretty good moments. And now for the things I didn't like. My biggest issue was that the show could be pretty boring at times. Out of the eight or so episodes, I'd say I enjoyed three of them and enjoyed a few moments in the rest. It's also not quite as unsettling or scary at other paranormal shows. It's actually not really scary at all. Overall, at times I found myself bored and at other times pretty entertained. It was good enough to move me to watch the next season, but not good enough to recommend to a friend. I chose to watch it because I was bored and it passed the time. Watch at your own discretion. 2.5/5.

Dec 14, 2020I cannot believe the Travel Channel would actually pay for, then air, this crappy program. They have found the three most annoying jerks I could imagine. Their acting is bad (not even up to the lowest level of other fake reality programs) and failing at even being bad actors. Please Travel Channel: please do humanity a huge favor and cleanse the universe of this waste of time and space.

May 08, 2020Low budget, repetitive, self proclaimed fear experiment. Criminal it made a second season. Spoiler alert. 3 twentysomethings separated in random abandon locations with video cameras reacting to production throwing rocks at them is funny for 3 episodes. Stop wasting our time.

Feb 26, 2020This is a fun and creepy series. I'm a big fan of the paranormal and I will admit I do feel it's slightly scripted. Just bangs and whistles. No shadow figures or visual proof makes me wonder how teal it is. And I have a feeling that Zach Bagans may be the brain child behind this. However I enjoyed it a lot and I will wat h for the next season.

Jan 18, 2020Horrible. Destination Fear is void of any substance, is less than amateur and poorly conceived. What a waste of money and time.
