Andrew Mayne loves to mess with people, not in the traditional joking sense, mind you, but by shocking them with mind-bending, wildly innovative illusions. Mayne is credited with creating a style of magic called "shock magic," which combines an up-close street magic approach with the impact of large-scale illusions. As the inventor of more than 400 magic effects and the publisher of dozens of books and videos on the art of illusion, mischief-loving Mayne has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and this series demonstrates his well-honed penchant for leaving unsuspecting men and women in disbelief. The Alabama native's bio also includes working behind the scenes for some of the world's top magicians, among them David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, and David Blaine.
