This animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife, Lois, reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby who is bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. Brian, the talking dog, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own issues.

Stephen C @bob25009 20h 15 funny and parody Fox episodes. See more La R @RT07441676 Apr 29 Anyone praising Season 24 of Family Guy probably hasn’t rewatched the OG Seasons 1–7. For me, the show declined around Season 8, shifting from genuinely lovable to just tolerable. OG seasons had clever storytelling, often starting with a mini-plot that smoothly led into the main story. These newer episodes lack that! They jump straight in. The humor now feels flat, and many references are unrelatable. At this stage, the focus should shift more toward Chris and Meg instead of Peter and Lois. Watching those 50 year olds awkwardly explain modern trends like social media, memes, or anime creates an annoying generational mismatch. For example, making Stewie—the baby—the center of a memes episode feels misplaced when that theme fits Chris or Meg better. OG episodes had memorable, creative plots and jokes—Peter becoming a fisherman, filling in for Death, multiverse adventures, time travel, and more. Compared to that, Season 24 just doesn’t measure up. Honestly, go rewatch them, you'll see.
