Clare L @RT00069564 12/30/2023 I really enjoyed it. I thought the acting was great and the depths of the emotional abuse and twists it took kept me hooked to finish it. I like tennis myself which is what attracted me to it but you don't need to be in to tennis to enjoy this series. Ella Lily Hyland was strong and carried the series though the protagonists actions were questionable, bordering on farcical. The story lacked any drama in the fruition. The further it went the further from reality it seemed. The best thing about the series is that is exposes the type of behaviour that has been commonplace and covered up within the confines of the tennis world for decades See more lesley d @RT08346708 07/29/2023 Overall it had its moments, and in the end got over its message, also that victims are not often believed. If they had stuck to that format instead of vearing off into armchair detective mode it might have been a much better production. Glen's narcissistic prodigee was a real low point as were the qualifying scenes which were frankly soap opera. Was that wig he was wearing from a joke shop? Wardrobe should be sacked immediately. That said it did have some intriguing moments, Aiden Turner being especially convincing in the role of predator, just a shame the ridiculous twists and turns let it down. See more Read all reviews
