Idk why people are giving hate that she does not resemble the old Nanno Thats the whole point its a reset it should be different from the previous ones both of them are great in their own place. I discovered becky from this series only and honestly became a true fan of her by seeing her acting then i followed to her other works too and was again impressed by her acting She seems like a versatile actor able to portray different roles very finely Only thing i felt was missing from the series was that the episodes were a little short and the screentime she actually deserved was not given If in future there is a season 2 then i would suggest they should have longer episodes and the story should be given more time to unfold with more screentime for the lead actress See more sara S @RT71941329 Apr 22 I've never watched original Girl From Nowhere until I heard rumour of Becky playing as new #Nanno. I give the OG GFN a try coz I'm curious how Nanno is like, and I love both s1 & s2, though there are some episodes that unbearable to be watched. Prior to GFN The Reset release, the production team mentioned that this Reset version is totally a NEW FRESH take of Nanno, meaning the whole concept of Nanno that you previously know of before, you need to Reset it. Watching this version by clearly wiping off any knowledge of original Nanno makes me feel The Reset version is so much fun. Though The Reset is tamer, but I feel like the show is super relatable. It's very thought provoking and makes you question and reflects many things about ourselves, our actions and our choices. I LOVE GIRL FROM NOWHERE THE RESET. If s2 exists, I hope they improve accordingly based on constructive criticism. I feel like there needs to be more Nanno scenes. See more Deaglan F @RT30206056 Apr 19 While the writing of the show was questionable in some episodes, the actress becky Armstrong did an amazingly unique portrayal of the character while still keeping the attitude of nanno from the original girl from. In the episodes, the symbolism showed in all of them was amazing especially in the last episode. Don’t be quick to hate on this reboot of the series. It’s definitely worth checking out. The directing and writing comes off pervy. There's a million ad placements and there's just as many plot holes. Do not watch. The original series deserved better.
