Not only did he help usher in one of TV's best romances of the past 10 years, Patrick Dempsey delivered to us a kind, compassionate character who may be the only person in the world who can get away with saying, "It's a beautiful night to save lives." Esteban C Oct 25 definitely my least favorite season so far!!! things were just not handled correctly. i mean, they tried too hard and too soon to replace cristina, and maggie is just a very vanilla character for the job. the april kepner transformation was a highlight, as well as amelia in general. the nicole/arizona situation was nice to see as well, but the whole stuff with calliope was just unnecessary for me. i feel like we needed more interesting plots and new characters, but looking at how the season ended, i bet the next one might be a big one. probably it was just a transition season, idk just yet. and of course, the icing on top of the cake, derek’s death!!! i didn’t like how they did both meredith and derek this season, and his death was a little imminent at that point. in the end, all i have to say is that i wish it could have been more meaningful and could have made me feel more. for what’s worth, love that they seamlessly fast forwarded the grieving year and now we can move on more firmly starting season twelve!!! great expectations for what’s next, let’s hope shonda doesn’t ruin that See more Jackson M @Nshvlleindie 06/04/2024 S11 is where Grey finally goes down. The episode where Derek died was so devastating; he was the best character. Meredith and Derek were the couple of the show, and they just took him off the show which made the show so much different.
