He shows no remorse and speaks as if he committed no real wrongdoing, treating the murders of two women as insignificant events. What makes the series especially unsettling is how Wilson exploits his appearance. He used his looks to gain attention, money, and sympathy while incarcerated, manipulating people even after his crimes were public knowledge. The series highlights how charm can distort perception, allowing horrific actions to be minimized or excused by outsiders.
