AMAZINGLY done, i must say :D An undoubtedly genius script that has you along for the ride on Louis' emotional rollercoaster. Assad as Armand is utterly phenomenal and hypnotic; his presence brings entire rooms to a halt. Sam Reid definitely held up with the hype for the season finale and i could not be more excited for Lestat's comeback. Casting of young Daniel was impeccable and Eric's acting job is superb as he is certainly a pain in a vampire's ass. And the direction deserves just as high a rating. The dialogue is so complex and seductive. What's not to love... well dressed beautiful people falling in and out of love in fabulous settings. A very mature love story. I’ve been waiting for so long for a series with such an unapologetic tone, this queer representation, this level of costume design, and such a brilliant script. Everything is crafted with incredible attention to detail, nothing is left to chance. The dynamics between the characters are complex and deeply layered. It’s torture to wait two years between each season, but I’m happy to wait because the quality is always worth it. All the actors are so committed and talented. A special mention goes to Sam Reid, who puts his whole soul into every scene, but the rest of the cast is just as incredible. Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, and Delainey Hayles, they are all amazing. I really hope the show won’t get canceled before we get Loustat endgame. Lestat and Louis’s relationship is so fascinating; they make me feel so many emotions. I feel so alive when I watch this show.
