As his relationship to Coodie’s camera changes, we watch Ye transform from a performer obsessed with self-mythology into one who is so deep in his own self-narrative that he may have forgotten he was building a myth in the first place. Go to Full Review

Fans will no doubt lap up every second of this exhaustive document, but for anyone who thinks he might just be a touch indulgent, well, this won’t make them think otherwise. Go to Full Review

Breadth is sacrificed for depth, a decision that mostly pays off thanks to the intimate access secured by the star’s fellow Chicagoan Coodie in those formative years of Ye’s career. Go to Full Review

If you're sick of the rapper, I can't blame you. But skipping the new three-part film means losing out on an unprecedented portrait of a towering, infuriating musical icon as a young man. Go to Full Review

By this ending point, though there are gripping sequences throughout, the overall narrative arc of the documentary seems heavy-handed and reductive... Go to Full Review

Netflixs three-part docuseries should have marked a redemptive moment for Kanye West, showing how talent, and faith in that talent, as well as a mind-blowing level of determination, can actually make your dreams come true. Go to Full Review

Enrique R @NostalgicNerd Jan 28 Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, a true documentary with stunning visuals and incredible moments. I love Kanye West, he is one of the best rappers of all time. Watch this miniseries. But, overall, I give Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy a 9/10 or a 4/5 stars. See more Ege S @EgeSafi Jul 12 Greatest rapper/producer ever and his story. See more Hendrix W. @HenHatesTayTay2 Jul 2 An absolute freakin’ paragon. This is what documentaries should aspire to be. See more Grindman M @RT16573270 04/11/2025 A great series of a man being changed by fame. It kind of hurts to see him start as a sweet, young man into what hes become today. Storytelling is very powerful See more made4change @Jaheeeem 02/02/2024 first 2 episodes were excellent but when it got into the modern era you can tell the director was very much influenced by personal biased. Everytime someone says "kanye isnt making sense" hes making perfect sense but you gotta listen and understand his context, which coodie doesnt in the slightest because literally the last time he was with kanye was 18 years ago. He doesnt know him anymore. The way the media and kanyes friends treat and view him is pathetic. Wish kanye had better people around him i guarantee he wouldnt have gone down the path hes down now. See more Veix D @RT02000427 10/14/2023 If you love kanye the first two episodes are litterally perfect. If you dont theyre still really good. The third and last one tho is not as good because Coodie the camera man grew away a bit from kanye but if you like kanye its still good and probobly okay if you dont. See more Read all reviews
