Each episode is a multi-part mini-epic focusing on a specific corner of the DCAU... and the expansive nature of the series makes it one of the strongest iterations of the Justice League in any medium. Go to Full Review

This show was just genius, pure and simple. Go to Full Review

These early episodes of Justice League, while not as completely wrapped up in DCU fan service as JLU was, showcase the team dynamic in a way that often reminds me of Star Trek: The Next Generation... That's a good thing. Go to Full Review

Justice League has depth, range, and heart. The show can go from achingly sweet to bizarrely silly to astonishingly epic at the drop of a hat. Go to Full Review

There is still something enchanting about seeing these iconic heroes come together for the first time, especially with the background of familiarity Batman and Superman bring from their respective animated series. Go to Full Review

Unfortunately, like many Season One episodes, the storytelling is largely superficial. Fans expecting more would have to wait for future episodes, when Justice League would develop into a far more engaging series. Go to Full Review

Bryan A. @Timmaryturner Mar 23 Justice League (2017) is a DC superhero film where Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team (Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash) to fight the alien threat Steppenwolf and his Parademons, who are seeking three Mother Boxes to terraform Earth. Directed by Zack Snyder, with significant reshoots by Joss Whedon, the film was a box office disappointment and led to a massive fan campaign for Snyder's original vision, resulting in Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). Key aspects of the 2017 film: Plot: Bruce Wayne, inspired by Superman's sacrifice, teams up with Diana Prince to recruit metahumans to defend Earth from Steppenwolf's invasion, which involves finding powerful Mother Boxes. Cast: Stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg). Production: Zack Snyder directed, but left the project during post-production due to personal tragedy; Joss Whedon took over for reshoots, leading to a diffe See more Nicholas t @nicktalbert2025 Jan 8 Best action packed tv series See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor Nov 8 Justice League Unlimited Season One expands the DC universe with ambition and variety, trading tight arcs for an anthology approach. The rotating cast is its biggest strength, allowing obscure heroes to shine and giving the world a lived in scale. Episodes like the Cadmus focused stories hint at deeper moral conflicts, even if they are not fully developed yet. Animation and voice acting remain consistently strong, especially Kevin Conroy and Clancy Brown. However, uneven pacing and a few forgettable standalone episodes hold it back. Overall, it is entertaining, occasionally thoughtful, and a solid foundation rather than a peak, earning 74%. See more Chris B @RT28138699 03/24/2025 Great season . Excellent start.
