Linnea B @RT76642997 09/03/2024 Every season is better, but maybe because I get more familiar with the comedians and the style of humor each time. I don’t know much about Japanese culture or humor, but I like the way the commentators have running color and commentary throughout the story. For instance, at the beginning, a prominent actor appears and the host says, “Oh another actor- so famous… How’d we book him?” Otherwise I wouldn’t know who the actor was. Although some jokes don’t stick for me as an American, most do and the framing storyline is so silly I find myself laughing out loud many times per episode. A really fun variety/reality show with a scripted comedy framework that works well. I truly hope this isn’t the last season! See more Read all reviews
