One part Larry Sanders, one part Mary Tyler Moore Show, one part Norman Lear, Lateline is the latest sitcom to discover that Washington, D.C., is an abundant source of real-life comedy. Go to Full Review
Tom Shales Washington Post 07/02/2019
Lateline is only about 22 percent better than the average TV situation comedy, and that just isn't enough. Worse, the show seems to imagine itself having a keen satiric edge about media and politics. Go to Full Review
Ray Richmond Variety 07/02/2019
Lateline is everything that its fellow network spring-tryout half-hours are not: sly, edgy, spirited, charmingly cynical and populated by a bevy of lovable eccentrics who don't treat a punch line like a medicine ball. Go to Full Review
M.S. Mason Christian Science Monitor 07/02/2019
