The town of Mystic Falls has a new generation of protectors in this spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals." The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted is home to Klaus Mikaelson's daughter Hope, Alaric Saltzman's twins Lizzie and Josie, and other young adults who are coming of age as witches, vampires and werewolves, nurtured to be their best selves and overcome their villainous impulses. Together, they rely on ancient folklore and tales to learn how to battle their far-reaching enemies and attempt to keep balance in the world.

Legacies is not at all what I was expecting... I probably would've scoffed and thought that the show was going too big. But I have to tell you guys: This show works. Yes, it's going big, but that's what makes it so fun (amongst other things). I am all in.

As someone who is still bitter about how The Originals' series finale played out, I was perfectly prepared to be disappointed by Legacies Season 1 Episode 1, but there was a lot to like about it.

HORRIBLE They completely ruined the legacy of the famous tvd and the originals with this hell'ish monstrosity The writers got completely out of the rail they should be fired and never hired again This is the worst piece of media TV has ever seen

This show was way better than I thought it was going to be, especially this season. Hope is taking on a new life while trying to move on from the fact that her Mon and Dad are gone forever. I love the cast so far, I love that Alaric is finally teaching kids and I like how all of them use their abilities. So far a good show and hopefully it gets better from here.

SUCH A GREAT SHOW!!!! but I feel like Julie pled needs to rethink everything she did with this show cause she could've done so much with Hope and the twins (Lizzie and Josie) 3 extremely powerful witches and let's not talk about Hope being a whole worldly threat and In legacies she's fighting ponies??? 😭 Julie you need to redo this show from the scrap. MAKE WHAT WE TRULY DESERVE!!!!

this show is a disgrace to its forefathers and a failed attempt to attract younger generations! Im glad it's canceled. and trust me I've pushed myself with the hope it will get. what a disappointment!

The story line is shockingly bad, hopes acting is appalling throughout and the way she shown as a bad ass when rly she is so little making everything about her and how the other characters let her walk all of them. None of this bad writing would of worked in VD or the originals
