Essentially all other supernatural dramas mashed together to create something with the only uniqueness of... well... ghosts (?) and I guess weretigers are apparently cooler than werewolves. Writing is average with plot holes, contradictions and stuff made up on the fly, effects are worse than average, they have one trick reused for every effect. Second monitor content, at most. See more jon c 07/08/2019 NBC has brought back the beloved book series for a 2nd season the great evil was defeated last time by Manfred using multiple demonic possessions he may be feeling reprecussions though Olivia and Lem have married yet face some issues due to their psychic connection, is it fixable? soon afterwards developers of a new hotel move in and it seems that they're disrupting the sacred spirits residing in the grounds healers called Kai and his wife Patience along with multiple followers; he can even make supernatural beings human again as it turns out there's even hints of a flirtation between her and Manfred Fiji and Bo sadly learn that they can't be together otherwise they risk death, so Fiji tries to find a solution by reaching out to fellow witches, she meets another named Celeste and learns a surprising connection A supporting player sadly loses her life as the story unfolds The finale leads to a shocking reveal of a severed heads true purpose and another apocalypse that Manfred and everyone else has to face The cliffhanger makes way for new developments as well as a new foe for the Midnighters to clash with Can they face the next big supernatural evil? Here's hoping Season 3 can amp things up with the monsters as well as the drama This is a better season for the moment thank goodness if there's a cure for being so cursed should we have faith to have it removed even if it's a part of who we are, is it like ripping a part of our soul from us?, on the other hand most of us wouldn't change a thing, secrets show their ugly faces the more we keep to ourselves See more 02/11/2019 A great spiritual successor show for fans of True Blood; it is supported by great characters that are delivered by a talented cast!!
