Despite the fumbling of the villains at the end, I had a good enough time with the series and all that it had to offer from the coming of age story to the themes of family and culture. The show had a lot of heart.

Ms Marvel had such a great family and cultural element to it. Stylistically it was very well director and even downright touching. The revelations and excitement through this show, prove how well these Marvel shows can be. One of my favorite marvel series

I honestly didn't know enough about the character, and had my doubts, but this was put together in such a way that it made me cheer for her to overcome and grow. The acting was mostly good. I think the story stretched a bit, but I for one would like to see more. I hope they don't force Captain marvel into her story too much and kill this off, because I think this could be one of the better stories to follow.

Perhaps valid for the kid in you, but for an adult audience extremely tedious and childish. Perhaps it is just a cultural matter but in my very personal view not worthy of the otherwise brilliant MCU universe. It has nothing to do with the main character, but it has everything to do with taking too many liberties with the source material. The only positive thing here is that they managed to keep this short and not stretching it out into a full blown TV Series which I doubt would have lasted more than a Season at best anyway. It is so discouraging to see teenagers always behave as overgrown rebels, or indeed as "know-it-all" even before having reached a true age of reason. I say this because I know there are teenagers who are more mature and can behave quite differently than what was shown here. I base this on the simple concept of "Mind over Muscle". Unfortunately writers of such crap have a kiddy-nostalgia of their own which seems to simmer through in their finished works. Pity.
