We can learn so much about so many personalties and peoples through this film. So detailed that make you research so much about the period. I remember this was huge!! Before cable became big with series. I feel they should watch this in school as a teacher because they are not teaching it accurately. They are teaching things today not making anyone come together. Revising history. I studied history and I am a teacher and consider myself a historian. This is closer to the truth than what they are trying to teach today. Excellent. Goes through the Civil War step by step in an exciting way. It can inspire you to research more on battles and more. They are revising history today and I am a teacher and historian that I do not agree with the approach today that is bringing down the country they way they are teaching it now sadly. This mini series before cable series was huge! So many saw this. This was when everyone saw historical fiction but based on real events! Action adventure and love and war! I visited South Carolina and Charleston and saw all the houses and sets many times!! The most beautiful historical city we have in the country! See more Trevor T @RT25791882 04/29/2023 Pretty good.
