David Attenborough’s narration does its best to inject some wit and surprise. But you sense even he must tire of yet another plucky mother defending her threatened brood. Go to Full Review

This series uses freakishly great CGI and the dulcet tones of David Attenborough to take us back to an earlier time... Go to Full Review

Prehistoric Planet 2 is a marvel, but with a little more science at the fore, it could have been greater still. Go to Full Review

Prehistoric Planet's first season was stunning, and its second is just as staggering... Move over Jurassic Park — this is the best dino franchise now. Go to Full Review

Fully committed to the set-up, the wildlife documentary style is a brilliant immersive look at the lives and species of dinosaurs millions of years ago. Go to Full Review

It’s still largely a show more focused on entertainment than education, but Prehistoric Planet 2 does go a step further in explaining some of the science behind the show. Go to Full Review

Jose N Jan 28 Me encantó. Es un documental impresionante a nivel visual y sonoro. Me gustó mucho cómo combina entretenimiento, historia y ciencia de forma realista y envolvente. Es de los mejores documentales que he visto. See more Luke D Nov 26 This was a amazing season in the show it's shows a bouch of dinosaurs and other animals in that time period the animals look great in this season and some dinosaurs and other animals in that time period don't really give enough spotlight that much so yeah it's was a fantastic season in the show so yeah See more Owen M @PopcornPunditPele Aug 3 Barely strays away from the greatness of the original, only with new stories, new dinosaurs, and new locations. David Attenborough sounds as good as ever. See more Troy Jul 15 A More Than Worthy Sequal See more Avindu G 10/26/2024 Tale of us told by the most excellent story teller Sir David. The human touch Attenborough gives to this documentary is wonderful. Turning towards this drama it's a brave exploration and a tremendous reimagining of an era before human history that's based upon thousands of man hours and logical findings that revived monsters out of bits and fragments they left behind. From first ti the second season visuals have evolved into better and explores more unlikely territories of this ancient wilderness. Perfect audio effects that enriches the experience. While there's been many cinema about these majestic reptiles this documentary should without a doubt one of the very best. See more Luke S 03/08/2024 Have to give this season four stars instead of five, simply because it didn't quite live up to the incredibly high expectations I had for it after season 1. Because of the way the series was produced (according to Darren Naish, segments were created individually and then compiled into episodes), and the sheer number of reused creatures from the first season, it's clear that a lot of this season is made up of material that was originally shelved. The behaviors displayed aren't as surprising or speculative; nothing here compares to Mosasaurus getting exfoliated by fish, Triceratops venturing into a cave in search of clay licks, or the infamous Carnotaurus mating display. Instead, we see behaviors that we've come to expect from media depictions of these animals: Triceratops and Pachycephalosaurus sparring, Tyrannosaurus hunting, Nanuqsaurus hunting, Rajasaurus hunting...I could go on. The advantage Prehistoric Planet has over other dinosaur documentaries though is that these behaviors have never been presented with such realism. See more Read all reviews
