Reina Roja is an interesting, dark and gritty series with two likeable protagonists and a mysterious antagonist who constantly keeps you on your toes. Go to Full Review

Yes, it’s convoluted and occasionally hard to follow, but it’s a roller coaster ride of guilty pleasure with its cartoon violence and fish-out-of-water protagonists. Go to Full Review

The television equivalent of a gourmet hamburger. It's not the best food in the world and there are many variants with similar ingredients, but that's something you don't care about when you find one that's really worth it. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The first season focuses on a single case, but establishes the lasting dynamic between the characters and the intrigue for subsequent mysteries and investigations. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Few things turn off the viewer from a series or a movie more than when they are aware that no one in real life talks like that, and that happens in Red Queen constantly. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Sometimes you can blend several of the same ol’ ingredients into something pretty tasty – and that, so far, is Red Queen’s M.O. Go to Full Review

Augusto P @RT57554972 Sep 21, 2025 I really loved!! The show isn't perfect and some things bothered me here and there. But Antonia Scott is so incredible that she alone makes this season incredible. For me, it's one of those stories where what's happening around doesn't matter so much, and you focus almost entirely on a specific character who's incredibly great to watch. I think it's a must-see series for anyone who enjoys things like Sherlock Holmes, Death Note and genius characters in general. See more Carl T @RT98355314 Jan 29, 2025 The positive reviews are baffling/dubious. It seems intriguing at first with lots of quirky things going on, but then to explain a mystery you get.. another mystery. It's pyramid scheme logic - don't get sucked in. Nothing is explained or comes together and a whole bunch of things make no sense whatsoever. There's no coherent plot just a lot of random things that seem like they're going somewhere and don't. The end makes zero sense and the "she's crazy smart, he's fiery and emotional" is all a bit basic. See more Leon H @RT80101212 Sep 7, 2024 When creating a battle between highly intelligent individuals there is nothing more important than having flawless logic throughout the series. The series squanders all it's great potential by throwing logic out of the window often enough to become so annoying to watch that it is infuriating and somewhat insulting to the viewer, especially the ending. See more Guido s @RT59335513 May 28, 2024 Thoroughly enjoyed! Well written and acted. See more Paulo G @RT72894459 May 24, 2024 Gripping thriller, cannot wait for a second season. See more J T @RT62155469 Mar 19, 2024 I'm Hispanic although it has been decades since I spoke Spanish primarily. English has been my everysay, language for many years. I only mention this because in my childhood I spent a lot of time in front of the TV with my abuela and madre watching their telenovelas which I always found extremely melodrmatic. I'm sure some of you can relate. This left me with a lifelong opinion, fair or unfair though it may be, that telenovela melodrama seems to seep its way in to every Spanish movie or TV series, which I find annoying and kind of spoils my enjoyment of what can otherwise be excellent shows. Maybe I'm oversensitized to it and look for the melodrama but I don't think I have to look too hard and always find it. This is the case once again for me with Red Queen. The show is enjoyable, has excellent character development and an interesting premise. It's the kind of show I would normally rate as a 4+ but the telenovela tropes nag at me when I notice them. Can't bring myself to rate it lower than 3 because it's definitely a fresh show and not rotten. Sorry for my perhaps preudiced review caused by childhood telenovela trauma... not sorry?
