Married home renovators Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama transform the most dilapidated properties on the island of Oahu into beautiful family homes. The couple, who were born and raised on the island, tackle substantial renovations in one of the most expensive states in the country and work against factors like unforseen costs, strict deadlines and unpredictable weather. Luckily, Tristyn and Kamohai can rely on a helping hand from their large family, which includes 87 first cousins, many of whom are in the construction industry.

This couple and their family are adorable and the house they’re renovating turned out gorgeous! This 20 year old, abandoned home also has a great backstory. It was a huge job, and they did not disappoint. I love that they’re in Hawaii, and including their family and local friends in the renovation. You can feel the aloha. Keep up the good work.
