Nathan J @RT55601166 2 days ago In the dark age of being a resident of Canada Shoresy reminds you exactly what it is to be a true patriotic Canadian. From the 6 am ice time game to the international finals displaying the rivalry between Canada and the USA this tv series shows every angle of what a true Canadian has proudly and voluntarily persevered through in our great national game of hockey. I found myself a ex AAA hockey prospect emotional and finally rejoining my winters with hockey after viewing this series as it showcases all off the ups and downs of hockey but most importantly the inner workings of the team that includes building character, being for the community and most of all playing your role and sacrificing all of yourself for the greater good of your team, no matter what it takes. Minus the strip clubs and reckless hookup culture that is promoted this is how every Canadian father hopes their child grows up and hopes to have these peoples surrounding them and shape them into proper men&girls of Canada. I really liked watching Shoresy step into the coaching role, and his relationship with Laura felt genuine and surprisingly touching. On the other hand, I really missed some of the old cast, and a few story choices felt awkward or underdeveloped. It's still a good season overall, just not on the same level as the earlier ones for me.
