This one tugs at you until you finally have to admit that beneath it all is a very powerful core narrative.
The first season was funny. The second season was a waste of time.
"SMILF" has seeds of greatness hidden beneath a veneer of veneer, hard to explain, it's humbling when you see that it went right over your head before it hits you. You think you're getting it and then you see you're not and then you see the sheer brilliance. Bergman, The Sopranos, Kurosawa, Deadwood, you just know you're experiencing the most that art can offer. "SMILF" just sort of sneaks up on you. Every aspect is superb, but you need patience and yes, even humility. Also, Rosie O'Donnell is a revelation, Frankie Shaw is a freakin' genius.
Love it, I hope the show gets picked up by another network or something.
Add ten more stars! Single moms can relate!!
I can't grasp it. Nice idea, nice acting but it's boring :( Re-watch Weeds.
OMG.. Just started watching this.. and soooo funny!!!
Expected this show to be stupid. was pleasantly surprised when some very real moments in motherhood and single motherhood were explored. I honestly expected this to be a funny show trashing on a poor single mom buts its got a lot of redeeming moments. not bad!
how can you not love her
Unapologetic and honest television being made right here! Hopefully, it doesn't run on too long as less could be more.
