Season two of ‘Lioness’ marks a definite upgrade over its predecessor, delivering a more gripping plot while staying true to the show’s core ethos. It’s bolder, more thrilling, and features sharper character development. Go to Full Review

Lioness Season 2 sacrifices its more intimate atmosphere of Season 1 to become more political. As a result, the second season is more scattered in its execution and worldview. Go to Full Review

The second season of Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness improves on the first (not a high bar), but it’s still mostly a chaotic mix of action sequences interspersed with Sheridan’s signature moralizing. Go to Full Review

Despite hitting many of the same beats expected from a show like this, Lioness is a bit of a tonal anomaly, switching between save-the-world thriller and upbeat family sitcom. Go to Full Review

Simply said, the Zoe Saldaña-led spy thriller’s sophomore run is fantastic, and stands as one of the year’s best TV shows. Go to Full Review

Rain O @raino 5d I used to think Aaron Sorkin was one of the best writers in television but having seen many shows now by Taylor Sheridan, he is without a doubt the GOAT One of the things I like about his shows, especially the ones he writes for, is he doesn't burden us with filler episodes. Every episode has action, every episode has drama and suspense, and every episode has a great pace and captivating dialogue. Season 2 really gets you more invested in the characters and Joe's work family. I'm interested to see how or if they incorporate the cartel story into the next season. The television landscape would be so much more dull if we didn't have this American treasure that is Sheridan pumping out some of the best television I have seen in 40 years. See more Matthew M @RT65958731 5d Season 2 is astoundingly unwatchable. it’s such a conservative fever dream that the story and characters don’t even make sense; it’s just a way to shoehorn conservative ideology into every monologue. it accuses democrats of foreign policy partisanship (pot, kettle). depicts literally all Latinos as either drug dealers or helpless victims. it’s obsessed with political correctness as if it was 25 years ago. it makes sure that all adult characters double down on transphobia. all kids are supposedly dumb. and then it worships at the altar of Bush Jr and literally says to ignore "everything after". if Fox News had a movie writing AI, it would produce this nonsensical dribble. See more A B @RT51720482 Aug 11 The action is good but the cheeks and tatas scenes are not necessary. They push hard on the sexualization which literally is not needed. Just give us action outside of sex scenes and we're good. See more Indigo V @RT02697601 Aug 9 Cruz..perfect for this role, This show should be in a movie theatres. Greatest detective, war story of 2026. All cast are super, very first time that I love Nicole Kidman's role. Can't wait for the next series, thank you Mr. Taylor Sheridan. See more James C @jecavs Aug 9 Another strong season. I recommend it. See more Keith C @LoneStarReviews Aug 8 Good ol modern tv with women being absolutely equal in every way in season 2 and Zoe's character being even more annoying than in the first season. Then of course there's always gay characters, gay sex, women are equally tough as a man....Taylor's worst show. See more Read all reviews
