The explicit Star Wars content rises and dips throughout the nine shorts, but together they’re a welcome addition. Go to Full Review

Though Star Wars: Visions can sometimes feel repetitive, those frustrations are minor versus the glorious idiosyncrasies of the... well, visionary work of the diverse animators here. Go to Full Review

It’s wildly experimental, singularly artistic and truly explores uncharted areas of the Star Wars galaxy thanks to its panel of globally diverse creators. Go to Full Review

Widening its scope, the anthology presents a delightful array of animation styles and storytelling from across the globe in this collection of tales inspired by the happenings in a galaxy far, far away Go to Full Review

Gorgeously animated, lovingly conceived, and unafraid to explore the themes that make Star Wars great, it belongs alongside Andor and The Last Jedi as one of the great new franchise entries of the Disney era. Go to Full Review

Star Wars: Visions’ second season has a great variety on show, both story-wise and visual styles. Screechers Reach was the best of the bunch in my eyes, but most of them were fun and/or exciting enough as well. Go to Full Review

See more Hughe J @Hughe Sep 30 Star Wars Visions Season 2 is a collection of animated short stories set in various locations throughout the Star Wars Universe. Each episode is presented in a different animation style that reflects the story it's telling. Some were of the Sith, some were fights against the Empire, some of just random events on an unknown planet. I liked that these were all twenty minutes or less and some of the animation was quite good, and some was not. However all of the stories were female driven, all had female protagonists, which came across as odd and definitely tainted my enjoyment of the series as it felt like it was pushing a message. Overall Season 1 was much better as the stories were much more varied and interesting. This was good, not great, but worth a watch. (ENGLISH) The best thing about Star Wars: Visions is how boldly it steps away from the usual formula. Instead of retracing familiar paths, it dives headfirst into telling stories from new angles, with complete creative freedom. Each episode is a small animated capsule filled with personality, style, and risk. Watching how different studios interpret the Force, the Sith, or the Jedi—each from their own cultural background—is not only refreshing, it feels essential to keeping the franchise alive. The animation is stunning throughout: from clean, elegant lines to the wildest designs, everything stands out. Not every chapter lands equally well, but even the weakest ones include strong moments and striking visuals. As a whole, this is an anthology that celebrates creative freedom and love for a galaxy that still has so much more to offer beyond canon. Visions is not just a breath of fresh air; it’s a love letter to the saga, told from corners of the world that rarely get a voice in productions of this scale. See more Ash P @AshParth 01/13/2025 This season continue to be as equally as amazing as the first season had went for having other studios be given creative freedom within the Star Wars universe. I can say, some of them are cool on their own terms as not every episode has to have a fight sequence, but rather a mix of emotion mixed into some of them. Favorite episodes has to go for Sith, In the Stars, Journey of the Dark Head, The Pit and Aau's Song. Every other episode had their cool moments while one or two of them felt a little bland, sadly. Of course, I can say not every episode wasn't perfect. In fact, it's how I felt for last season with their own episodes. I will give this a two thumbs up for this is a season for international animation studios have a hand in the universe like last year with anime studios had given their try into the universe, too. Looking forward to what Season 3 has to offer. I give this season as equally as I'd given last season. Eight Aau singing to the kyber out of ten. 8/10.
