Gun violence in schools isn't your typical Saturday-morning cartoon series topic, but as it turns out, "Static Shock," the WB animated action series about a 14-year-old with "electromagnetic" powers, isn't your typical Saturday-morning cartoon series. Go to Full Review

matthias s @Thescreenasvor Oct 28 Static Shock – Season 2 Review (66%) Season 2 finally acknowledges Static’s place in the DC Universe — and then completely ignores it, which is such a shame. The show improves over Season 1, but it still struggles to reach its full potential. Static isn’t always a fun or engaging hero to root for, and while the villains are decent, none truly stand out. The stories and dialogue often feel undercooked, leaving you wishing for more complexity and better character work. Still, the season has its moments of charm and creativity — and that wild final episode is one of the craziest things ever aired on a kids’ show.
