It's so cool, so unique while still holding strong to the TMNT identity, and oh my lord does it have some AMAZING scenes. Donatello's arc was actually spooky as hell, and I kept rewinding parts of Leo's because of just how COOL it was. I can't stress enough how awesome this season was, 100% a must watch imo. It not only improves upon the first season but also demonstrates that this version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can grow without losing its essence. What I enjoyed most was the focus on the turtles' individual personalities. Each one has moments to shine and conflicts that feel authentic, which helps the team feel more human and less cartoonish. The animation remains vibrant and creative, with dynamic fight scenes that never feel repetitive. While the series remains accessible to a young audience, this season dares to touch on slightly more mature themes, especially regarding responsibility, identity, and teamwork.
