We gain something else from Fey turning her keen observational eye, long used to skewer show-biz types, to the subject of relationships in midlife. The treatment feels refreshingly rooted in reality. Go to Full Review

The show is gentle, unhurried and lovely to look at. Go to Full Review

The total disconnect from economic reality remains almost a punchline in itself. But I like hanging out with Fey’s, Colman Domingo’s and Marco Calvani’s characters -- and Will Forte makes me howl with laughter as Fey’s depressive DIY husband. Go to Full Review

The writing in The Four Seasons fundamentally explores what it’s like to be an aging human looking to find their place in life. It’s heartbreaking, it’s hilarious, and it’s poignant, and it understands what makes people the way they are. Go to Full Review

"Four Seasons" Season 2 isn’t offering anything different (except maybe a tinge better writing and plot) than Season 1. But for anyone seeking the warmth of friendship and community, it is as often a mirror as it is an aspiration. Go to Full Review

Scripted S @ScriptedSilence 17h I loved it! Entertaining and engaging both comedic and emotional. See more Matt L @Mattliptak Jun 21 Season 2 of Four Seasons proves Tina Fey and Will Forte did it again. In keeping with the spirit of the movie, the show stays lighthearted, charming, and downright funny from start to finish. It has that easy, breezy humor that never tries too hard, but still lands with sharp writing and great comedic timing. Coleman Domingo absolutely shines, stealing scenes with every witty line and bringing the perfect amount of warmth, charisma, and humor to the cast. The chemistry works, the tone is consistent, and the whole season feels like the kind of smart, feel good comedy television needs more of. I am glad they renewed it for Season 3 because this show still has plenty of life left in it. Awesome season, great cast, and a genuinely fun watch. See more Lilly Kristin F @frank. Jun 21 It’s hard to get past the terrible wardrobe, to pay attention to the show and its awkward unnatural dialogue. Everyone’s hiking in brand new shoes, couldn’t they ask a scenic to age them? The problem with the new crop of streaming execs, is that they’ve never worked in film and because they’re so inexperienced they don’t realize how flat and crummy their budget cuts make a production look. As long as above the line gets paid. Tina Fay looks like a Costco model if there was such a thing and her ‘upstate’ shirt after the absurd hike outfit, was the winner of a fourth grade design contest. It looks perfect with the set dressing. Two huge big peach vases on either side of the tv that are so large they block the screen. Was there even a decorator? The fake Walmart logo bags all over the hotel. And the antiquated story line where a husband leaves his wife to date a younger version, barf. See more Charlie L @RT25973881 Jun 20 Ann: Why are you all trying to stop me from being an absolute bitch? Please leave me alone. Also, let's go on 3 more holidays together this year. See more Z N. @ZNedov Jun 20 The second season was actually so much better. The comedy was great I love every second of it. See more Kathryn L @RT78716972 Jun 17 After enjoying Season 1 so much my Mam and I were really hoping Season 2 was going to be as good and we both agreed it was. It had all the same range of emotions shown in Season 1, but switched them around to show that everybody goes through the same feelings but in different circumstances and different ways. We were not at all disappointed and are looking forward to Season 3 See more Read all reviews
