Emmett B @RT39580862 Dec 6 It is strange hearing Jason Clarke with his Australian acent after seeing the show. He delivers an American accent brilliantly in this and in Brotherhood with Jason Isaacs. His portrayl of Alex Murdaugh is very convincing, as a brash well off patriarch with a love for guns and hunting. Although gradually loosing control of various parts of his life to devastating effect. The series is based on the true story, and this serves as an insight into the world in which he, his wife and two sons lived. Both him and Patricia Arquette are not immediately recognisable maybe because of their advancing years and his weight gain as part of the role, I am a bit of a fan over true crime re-enactments so maybe biased in my opinion with me highly recommending this series. If you want to take a deeper dive into the series and the cast there is also an 8 part series with the real Mandy Matney talking to the cast members.
