"The Spouse House" is a daring take on the wedding and relationship genre. The concept provides 14 singles -- seven men and seven women -- with an unusual method to find a spouse, something each has longed for but hasn't been able to accomplish via traditional means. Living together for eight weeks, the participants get to know one another better in an accelerated environment while the co-hosts, clinical psychologist Dr. Isaiah Pickens and relationship coach Christine Hassler, help them find their husband or wife. It culminates each week with the Engagement Ceremony and the hope of proposals and wedding ceremonies. If there are no proposals, an eviction takes place and new compatible singles move into the house.
