In the City of Brotherly Love, compassion takes a back seat to cash in the towing business. There, driving a tow truck is unlike anywhere else in America, because Philadelphia is the only city in the country that allows "wreck chasing" -- tow drivers competing to claim wrecks and collect cash. This series follows the towing family at 1-Unit, a diverse 31-person crew led by veteran wreck chasers PJ and Mickey. With a fleet of more than 18 trucks, 1-Unit services north and west Philly, an area vast enough to invite plenty of heated competition.
