See more David W @Sternhammer 09/13/2024 So ends the most consistently enjoyable post zombie apocalypse series I've ever seen. This series isn't my favourite but there are the usual great zombie effects and the regular cast are as superb as ever but some of the new cast members are not quite as up to the job in the acting stakes. The writing for this last series was not the direction I wanted the show to go in (but I fully understand the need for some change) introducing politics and other nonsense which felt both alien and contextually unnecessary to the spirit of the show. The trademark humour is also missing from quite a few episodes which was jarring but as usual is very enjoyable when it happens. It's definitely worth a watch if you've stayed with the series to this point and is much better than most in the genre as it certainly does have its moments and some standout episodes. As this was apparently it's last series, I must say that I will miss it a lot as it's highs have been truly magnificent and the core cast were superb but series 5 was its weakest series overall for my taste. Despite the faults of this last series though the superb first four are easily among the best of zombie viewing ever made and series five is certainly very watchable. Hasta la vista Warren, Murphy, Doc, 10k, Addy, Citizen Z etc and thanks for the wonderful memories. See more Cristian s @cristiansj 12/22/2023 Z nation es una serie que siempre se caracterizo por no importarle mucho su historia, solo se basa en personajes badass y momentos bizarros de zombies diferentes y misericordia variada, sabia lo que era y lleve 4 temporadas conforme con ello (mas allá de algún capitulo aburrido de vez en cuando). El problema con la quinta temporada es que tal vez sea la peor de todas: una historia no solo mala y aburrida sino que también predecible, los momentos divertidos son 2 o 3 (el capitulo del zombie con partes robóticas, el viaje astral, los drones baja zombies y creo que paro de contar) y lo que tal vez sea lo peor de todo; basaron toda la temporada en George, un personaje nuevo que jamás habíamos visto y al cual por momentos llegue a odiar, excepto Roberta todos los demás son extras o parte del decorado. See more 06/16/2021 Thoroughly enjoyed 1-4, lot's of laughs with the drama and I really looked forward to the next episodes. Season 5 was HORRIBLE. Bringing in the talkers was a huge mistake and completely ruined the show. Apparently the writers felt the need to go woke by changing the tone of the show by adding political dissent and pushing to be all inclusive. I watched the show for entertainment, not to be preached to. The first 4 seasons kept me wanting more and after season 5, I'm glad they ended it.
