Director and producer David Livingston has worked extensively on various shows in the Star Trek television franchise. Starting out as a production manager on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" in 1988, Livingston worked his way up to supervising producer on the series, and subsequently directed two episodes. In '93, Livingston became a key director and producer on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and, two years later, he worked in both capacities on "Star Trek: Voyager." Between 2001 and '05, Livingston also helmed numerous episodes of the prequel series "Star Trek: Enterprise." Outside of the "Star Trek" universe, Livingston directed episodes of the sci-fi/adventure series "Sliders" and the beach drama "Baywatch Nights" and he produced the 2002 TV adaptation of Stephen King's "Carrie," as well as episodes of "Threshold," the short-lived series developed by fellow "Star Trek" alum Brannon Braga.
