Fred Stuthman was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Known for making audiences laugh, Stuthman began his acting career in comedies like "For Pete's Sake" (1974) and "Network" (1976). He had an early role on the television special "Sojourner" (CBS, 1974-75). Stuthman worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "M*A*S*H" (CBS, 1972-1983). Stuthman also lent his voice to various characters in the animated picture "Raggedy Ann & Andy" (1976) with Didi Conn. His film career continued throughout the seventies in productions like the thriller "The Sentinel" (1977) with Chris Sarandon, "Heroes" (1977) with Henry Winkler and the Gregory Peck biopic "MacArthur" (1977). He also appeared in the William Devane comedy sequel "The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training" (1977). He held additional roles in television including a part on "WKRP in Cincinnati" (CBS, 1978-1982). He also was featured in the TV movies "The Gift of Love" (ABC, 1978-79) and "Mae West" (ABC, 1981-82). Stuthman more recently appeared in "The Blue and the Gray" (1982).
