James Coyle was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. At the start of his acting career, Coyle starred in dramas like "A Horse Called Jester" (1980) and "Ascendancy" (1982) with Julie Covington. He also was featured in the miniseries "The Manions of America" (1981-82). He also appeared in the TV movie "A Tale of Two Cities" (CBS, 1980-81). He continued to act in productions like "The Chain" (1985) with Herbert Norville, "Brazil" (1985) and the comedy "Old Flames" (1989) with Stephen Fry. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He also was featured in the TV movie "Crucifer of Blood" (TNT, 1991-92). Most recently, Coyle acted on "Rescue Me" (FX, 2003-2011).
